William de Warenne celebrates Armistice with friends

Yesterday evening William de Warenne Lodge held our Armistice meeting with a bumper turnout of 43 Brethren. We passed Bro Thomas in an excellent ceremony conducted by our W.M. W. Bro. G. Cornwell assisted by members of the Lodge with an exceptional delivery of the 2nd Degree Tracing Board by W. Bro. P. Gosling. Afterwards we adjourned to the festive where we remembered those fallen brethren and then sung songs related to those era's.

Cheque Presentation to Buxted Scouts

The 1st. Buxted Scout group met today for the Ceremony of Promise Renewal. Afterwards William presented the Chairman of the Scout Committee with a Cheque for £1750 on behalf of the Members of William de Warenne lodge.

William de Warenne presents 2 cheques to Chestnut Tree House.

Today members of William de Warenne Lodge and Chapter travelled to the Chestnut Tree House to present money raised by Lyn Evans in his year as Master of the Lodge and John Withall in his year as !st Principal of the Chapter.

Cheque Presentation to The Childrens Respite Trust, Uckfield

On Feb 19th W. Bro's John Withall and Chris Hunt, presented a cheque for £1000 to the Childrens Respite Trust, Uckfield. The money will be used to further the work by the trust in looking after Children with Special needs while their parents, take a much needed, but short, break.

Woodlands Meed School Sensory Room finally opened.

On Mon 6th Nov Lodge members assembled at Woodlands Meed School to attend the opening of the Sensory Room which was funded by the Lodge. The Mayor of Burgess Hill, Jacqui Landriani, performed the Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
